Health Care Benefits
- Medical Coverage
ATSC offers two medical plans: Kaiser Permanente (HMO) and CIGNA Open Access Plus. Both medical plans offer comprehensive care - including hospitalizations, prescription drugs, and routine and well-child care visits.
- Prescription Drug Coverage
Prescription drug coverage is provided under each of the medical plans. Both plans offer a mail order option for maintenance drugs for one co-payment.
ATSC offers the CIGNA Dental PPO which has both an in-network and out-of-network benefit.
ATSC offers a complete vision plan. This gives employees access to a national network of retail eye care chains and independent physicians.
Income Protection Benefits
- Short Term Disability
ATSC offers the employee an opportunity to purchase Short Term Disability coverage. Short Term Disability assists with non-work related disabilities, such as illness, injury, or pregnancy for a period of up to 13 consecutive weeks. The benefit pays 66.67% of weekly earnings, not to exceed the weekly benefit of $1,500. This "income replacement" insurance is intended to fill the gap between the onset of a covered disability and the beginning of long term disability payments, if elected.
- Long Term Disability
Long Term Disability provides income replacement when an illness or injury prevents you from returning to work for more than 13 consecutive weeks. This benefit provides 60% of the basic monthly earnings, not to exceed the maximum monthly benefit of $6,000. Long Term Disability is a company paid benefit.
- Basic Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Coverage
ATSC provides basic company paid life insurance valued at twice an employee's annual salary.
- Voluntary Life Insurance
In addition to the basic life insurance, voluntary supplemental life is available. Coverage under the supplemental life insurance can be customized for yourself as well as for your spouse and/or children.
Investment and Retirement Benefits
- 401(k) Plan
The ATSC 401(k) Plan offers a convenient way to save and invest for the future, while receiving immediate tax advantages. It's free money! When you participate, you receive a match from ATSC and immediate vesting. Here's how it works: For every dollar you contribute to the plan, up to 6% of your salary, the company will add 50 cents to your account to a maximum 3% of your compensation.
The 401(k) also provides the convenience of borrowing from your vested account balance. Restrictions and limitations may apply.
Note: Amounts from other employers' qualified plans can be rolled over into your ATSC 401k.
- Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)
The ATSC ESPP gives employees the chance to purchase ATSC stock at a 5% discount.
Flexible Spending Account
We offer Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) to assist with dependent and health care related expenses. This plan allows you to reduce your federal, FICA, state and local taxes by paying for eligible expenses on a pre-tax basis. Deductions for both accounts are set aside through payroll deductions.
The dependent care account allows you to deduct up to $5,000 per family, per year. The health care account allows you to deduct up to $2,400 annually for reimbursement of covered expenses.(Back to Top)
- Paid Time Off
ATSC provides a generous Paid Time Off (PTO) program starting at 15 days and increasing up to 22 days based on tenure.
ATSC provides up to 10 paid holidays per year.
